Our 4-1/2 year old Golden Retriever, Chloe, has had an upset stomach for close to a week. I was told by Dr. Casey Jones' Staff to bring her in rather quickly. I did and Dr. Jones could tell just by looking at her, that she was safe. He prescribed Chloe 4 Cerenia Tablets(Motion Sickness for Dogs) that prevent acute vomiting in Dogs. Dr. Jones then told me to prepare Chloe some scrambled eggs with Pam Cooking Spray two hours after her first dose. She ate the eggs, but was still feeling sick. She was somewhat lethargic the rest of the day, but did not vomit any of the eggs. I was told the next day to administer Chloe's final dose of medicine, and two hours later fix her some Rice and Chicken. She ate it slow, but sped up eating it all a few minutes later. Just an hour or so later, I went to the kitchen to fix me a Peanut Butter Sandwich. While i was enjoying my sandwich, Chloe approached the kitchen, wanting some Peanut Butter. Blacksburg Animal Clinic truly gives you a great feeling when you take your pet there--I have been taking my tabby cat there for a few years and couldn't be happier. The vets are knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. The kennel is relatively cheap as well. Overall, a great experience.
